When you write in, please include your iOS version, your DetailProof version (Settings → About), and a short description of what you were doing when the issue happened. Screenshots help a lot.

Manage your subscription

DetailProof Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. You can change plan, pause, or cancel anytime from the App Store:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Tap DetailProof and choose Cancel Subscription or change plan.

Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep Pro features through the end of your current billing period. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your DetailProof account and all data tied to it from inside the app:

  1. Open DetailProof and go to Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account, jobs, photos, and reports are removed and cannot be recovered.

Deleting your account in the app cancels cloud sync but does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription — manage that separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. If you'd prefer we delete your account on your behalf, email support@detailproof.app from the address on your account.

Common questions

The app says my trial expired but I just installed it.

Tap Restore purchases on the paywall. If you previously had a trial under the same Apple ID, the App Store remembers it. If you believe this is a mistake, contact support with the email on your Apple ID.

My photos didn't sync to another device.

Sync requires you to be signed in on both devices and on a working internet connection. Open Settings → Account on each device and confirm both show the same email. If sync still stalls, sign out, sign back in, and give it a minute on Wi‑Fi.

The AI flagged something that isn't damage / missed real damage.

The AI is an assistive tool — it surfaces suspect areas, but you have the final word. Tap any finding to edit, delete, or add notes before generating the report. Final accuracy is the user's responsibility.

How do I export a report?

Open a job → tap the share icon. DetailProof generates a branded PDF you can email, AirDrop, text, or save to Files.

Does DetailProof work offline?

Yes. Capture, document, and generate reports fully offline. Cloud sync and AI detection require a connection and resume automatically when you're back online.
